The Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project has sent an advocacy letter to Allegheny County Jail Warden Orlando Harper regarding the denial of medical care. Keyshawnn Pennybaker, a transman diagnosed with gender dysphoria, is experiencing inadequate wound care post-double mastectomy, issues with the provision of hormone therapy, and blood clotting concerns, among other health issues. The letter asks that Mr. Pennybaker immediately be provided with necessary medical treatment to prevent further serious harm.
