Calysta Xenakes

Calysta Xenakes is a Legal Assistant with the Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project based in the Philadelphia office. Calysta started as a volunteer for PILP in 2015 and has always had an interest and passion for prisoners' civil rights. In her role as a legal assistant, she handles the high volume of incoming mail and sends out self-help legal materials and informational resources to assist incarcerated individuals. On behalf of PILP, Calysta has attended several annual resource fairs held at the Philadelphia Prison System distributing free publications PILP provides. A lifelong Philadelphian, Calysta attended Roxborough High School and graduated from DPT School of Business where she obtained a Pharmaceutical Technician degree.
